Shelter is critical for the survival of people surviving disaster. Shelter provides security, safety and protection from the elements and protects from disease. It's also important for human dignity, to sustain family and community life and to enable people to recover as quickly as possible from the effects of the disaster.

This kits allows for 10 Family Tents to be distributed to displaced people to provide temporary shelter for families of up to five persons. Family tents have a lifespan of 1 year minimum, maintaining its shelter and waterproofing capacities in all types of climates.
